mending-together started on a very simple principle; mending is hard, but together it can be easier. Provided here is a growing library of tools, skills, Resources, and information to be accessed, downloaded, printed, and shared by clinicians and clients alike. m-t is based on the hope that the more resources that can be brought together and shared, the potential for mending and growth can continue to increase exponentially. The brain has a natural inclination towards health and development when exposed to an open, understanding, and nurturing environment. As therapists/clinicians, we trust the lead of our clients in identify what they believe is most important to address. In addition to traditional talk therapy, expressive interventions and eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and other alternative processing modalities can help encourage the brain’s innate tendency towards improvement.
